About Us
We are North America Maple Youth Co. under North American Maple Cultural Center
North America Maple Youth Co. is headquartered in Connecticut, US, a subsidiary of North American Maple Cultural Center. It is the first Internet platform to serve those Chinese children under 18 years old and born outside of China.
Bilingual Youth Television features our sections. The Kid's Perspective, Looking Up to Our Parents, and The Outstanding Person.
The Golden Youth Club is our team of talented volunteers who are featured on our various platforms. They give a speech on a monthly basis. There are also periodic contests and shows which will allow for members of the club to express their talent.
The Maple Youth Podcast let the children hear their own voices with the Maple Youth Podcast! New episodes are released periodically, featuring our young anchors from all across America.
Our Maple Youth Newspaper features stories, comics, and art from around the community in a well-made and inclusive format.
Our Store is a place where we sell various products, including second-hand toys and crafts made by our members; these profits will be donated to charities for the hungry and homeless children
These platforms offer a window for us to share our talent, culture and be able to connect with many others from similar and a diverse range of cultures.
2020年11月20日是世界儿童日！总部位于美国康涅狄格州的美国青少年双语电视台宣布：北美枫香文化中心旗下的华裔双语少年电视台正式开播！居住在马塞诸萨州波士顿的10岁小主播钱书涵，用英文播报了感恩节前夕，哈佛镇有线电视台播放枫香少年剧社奉献的感恩公益演出消息；与此同时连线了居住在德克萨斯州的5岁小主播安重藩，她用中英文播报了当地儿童传唱《病毒快走开！》这首原创歌曲的缘由。BYTV电视台台长张西介绍说：“我努力给华裔后代搭建一个可以发声的接地气的双语平台，他们是人类未来的希望。我尽力去拓宽孩子们的视野和思维，让他们从BYTV平台起飞，能走多远就走多远吧！”两位小主播在此之前接受了金色少年艺校给予的小记者课程的专业训练，这是他们首次持证上岗，期待着观众们的关注和反馈。毕竟华裔在美历史上，这是首家少儿双语电视台问世。此前，BYTV颁发了首批小记者证书。BYTV将不定期推出小记者们的新闻播报节目！疫情蔓延对全世界的少年儿童的影响不言而喻，而美国各地的少儿是怎样度过疫情？他们经历了什么？发生过什么？现在什么状态？都将是BYTV追踪报道的范围和内容。

2020年8月8日是个好日子！虽然尚在疫情期，但儿童网络大电影《我是花》一剧仍如期在康州大学开机。该片主演由7岁的小金人学员邵奕霏和11岁的马嘉奇担当。

美国青少年双语电视台总部设在美国东岸康涅狄格州，录属北美枫香文化中心，是首家以美国华裔少儿为主，福射全球华裔后代的网络电视公司。主要服务于4-18岁的华裔少儿群体。青少年双语电视台栏目设置为：少儿自拍自制小视频，小记者在线采访，每月人气热榜，戏剧培训，少儿影视天地等。美国少儿网络电视台面向全球签约30位双语小主播，
开设了30个栏目。我们的工作团队将努力把本平台打造成全美最具影响力以及最受欢迎的少儿媒体传播平台。本平台是了解美国少数族裔儿童群体新形象的唯一和直接窗口。
Experience Youth Online TV
What we do
The Coronavirus Pandemic in nearly 200 countries around the globe since January 2020 changed the way we live, learn and connect with each other. Our 30 young anchors are brought together on our platforms with the goal of connecting with each other and with many more around the globe for fun activities and exchange.
We will be launching a variety of video programs every day, including performances, interviews, or commentary of events by our young anchors, many of descendants of Chinese origin, presenting in both Chinese and English. All our videos can be found under Golden Youth Group on YouTube. Our Leader
Xi Zhang the founder of North America Maple Youth.
Xi Zhang’s most well recognized plays include “Online Dating”, “Ivy League Dream”, “Flying Tigers Flying Away”, “Who is Dean Lung” ， “Golden Teens“， “Uncle Qin’s Roses”, and ”Monkey King in America”.
A sociologist, writer and director, Xi has been active in the Chinese community in USA and established twenty two Maple Theatre Groups since 2015 across USA, Canada and China. The debut of her seven original plays attracted 1500 artists and performers in 53 cities among the three countries with over 60,000 audiences. It was described by the media as “a major cultural event and phenomenon in the history of Chinese Americans”. Among them “Online Dating”, “Flying Tigers Flying Away” also performed as off Broadway shows in New York, 2016 and 2018, respectively.

曾在全美创建22个话剧团队，招募1500余话剧爱好者，在海内外53座城市为6万余观众演出近百场话剧，好评如潮，被媒体称为“美国华裔历史上的一个重大文化事件和现象。”其中《海外剩女》和《飞虎恋》分别于2016年、2018年在纽约外百老汇演出。

张西导读（第44期）：对音乐人来说，4便是“发”的意思。瞧，书潭书涵兄弟的《幸运的小袜》推出后，颇受欢迎，一直稳座人气冠军宝座。而且，小朋友们都眼巴巴地等着看下一集。这不，兄弟俩再次联手合作的第2集《那是自然》出炉了。据说制作过程非常开心，他们尝试了不同的东西。比如，把背景改成了在电脑上作画，所以我们看到的画面色块鲜艳，所有的视频都是在绿屏前拍摄，然后用当下流行的抠像加上去。令我兴奋的是，书潭开始尝试作曲，这次片头和片尾音乐都是他自己完成的，我超喜欢。期待第3期小视频，整个音乐背景都出自书潭之手。说不定以后，其他小主播们的视频背景音乐都是书潭作曲呢，劝你赶紧排队向书潭预约，兄弟俩很忙......
